CHARIS I. TRIANTAFYLLOU
Civil Engineer graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with further studies in Construction Engineering and Management at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in the USA, where he completed his Master’s Degree (MS Construction Engineering and Management). His educational background allowed him to build a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of civil engineering, enabling him to approach projects with a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and management practices.
With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Charis has been overseeing and/or supporting the execution of large, complex development projects for both public and private sectors. His portfolio includes a range of projects, such as hotels, hospitals, mall systems, complex office buildings, power plants, airports, highways, bridges, and large underground projects like the Athens and Thessaloniki Metro systems. His extensive experience covers various stages of project development, from initial planning and design to final construction and handover, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
PMI certified, he brings a strong ownership perspective to the application of project management principles to the Synergy Team. He ensures alignment, transparency, and integrity for all projects’ stakeholders. His approach to project management emphasizes clear communication, meticulous planning, and ethical conduct, which helps in building trust and achieving successful project outcomes.
